The Ashl和 University Net Price Calculator will help you estimate your out-of-pocket costs as well as provide an estimate of financial aid for your upcoming year. First-year 和 transfer students can be financially prepared to begin your college education.

The billing statement shows your actual charges for one semester, less any financial aid that has been credited to your account 和 what you owe. Certain situations may impact the ability for financial aid to apply to your billing statement. 原因包括:

Reasons for variations in your billing statement may include:

There are a variety of factors that are considered when AU offers financial aid to students including:

- Dep艺术mental selection of scholarship recipients
If you are an incoming undergraduate or graduate student, the 财政援助办事处 will begin the awarding process in November for undergraduates 和 March for graduates. We will continue to award on a weekly basis for the duration of the year.
If you are a returning undergraduate or graduate student, the 财政援助办事处 will begin the awarding process in the spring for the upcoming academic year.
Ashl和 University’s school code (003012) must be included on your FAFSA, 和 your social security number on your FAFSA 和 on file in AU’s system must match. Check with your 招生 Representative or the 注册处 to ensure your social security number is correct.

It is important that you check with the 财政援助办事处 before you finalize your plans to live off-campus, especially if you are changing your 住房 plans from on-campus to off-campus after your financial aid offer letter was finalized. If you do not have this conversation in advance, you may find yourself owing money back to the university later in the semester.
Students attending less than full-time may still qualify for some types of aid, 包括俄亥俄大学机会补助金, 联邦佩尔助学金和联邦直接贷款. Ashl和 University institutional aid is only available to full-time students who pay the undergraduate, 传统综合学费.

The maximum amount an undergraduate student can borrow each year ranges from $5,500 to $12,500, depending on their year in college 和 their dependency status. Students must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours or more) to borrow 联邦 Direct 贷款.
The maximum amount a graduate student can borrow each academic year is $20,500(连续两届). Students must be enrolled at least half-time to borrow 联邦 Direct 贷款.
If you are not enrolled at least half-time, your six-month grace period will begin. 如果你恢复半日制招生, your 贷款 will again be deferred as long as you remain enrolled at least half-time.
You must be enrolled in at least one class for AU to process your financial aid. If you are enrolled at AU 和 another school simultaneously, a consortium agreement may be needed so you can receive your full eligibility for 联邦 aid.
You may or may not be eligible for AU grants or 奖学金 while enrolled in study abroad. However, you may be eligible for 联邦 和/或 state aid.
